Troy Davis was convicted of the August 19, 1989, murder of Savannah, Georgia, police officer Mark MacPhail.There were 9 witnesses that claimed Troy murdered Mark. Since, the time of the murder 7 of the 9 witnesses have recant their statements. Many of them say they were pressured or coerced by the police into testifying or signing statements against Troy Davis. Troy has been sentenced to death and is going to be lethally injected on Wednesday, September 21st 2011 unless we do something about it!
