Friday LMU volunteers put together a Fun Day together for Underwings! The volunteers got $200 to spend on our students. Originally, they were going to do a sport day outside however, it rained so we did an inside game day with lots of board games, Twister, and arts & crafts. The kids loved it!
I also, recruited the USC APO Chapter to volunteer at my other after school site. There is going to be a group of 16 of them coming every Friday. It was really amazing because my students were able to get a lot of one on one attention that normally is just not possible.
