Sunday was the huge celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe! It began with mass at 3:45 am (my roommates made it to the mass and got back 7 am). I went to the the afternoon celebration. We walked through the streets of the projects behind Aztec dancers and three floats of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Juan Diego. Many children were dressed up and carrying images of the Virgin Mary.
